I started a blog a little while back to write about various things that i find interesting or the need to comment on and quickly realized that I needed/wanted to narrow my topic down to one thing (triathlon) I've been sorta out of touch but will get back to it once I start training again. I'll be sure to use your guide as a reference :) Nice entry, summarizing some common sensical things and some not so obvious things in a nice post.

I'll wager of the top 10, at least one of them blogs. Once you find a thought-leader, you can tap-into the community of passionate people that surround the issue you're passionate about. If you can't find them, then even more reason for you to speak up - start the conversation.
