A New Leaf

According to an article today in InfoWorld, there is reason to believe that Microsoft is genuinely turning over a new leaf and becoming more open. In fact, the article suggests that new leaders such as Ray Ozzie and Bill Hilf have been instrumental in making the company more open to giving developers unprecedented access to the platform itself and to interoperability with open-source software.

I personally don’t know what to believe. On the outside I am this company’s loudest fan, on the inside its harshest critic. I suppose that’s what’s required when you’re in marketing. But what I’m reading all sounds like a good thing.
