The Great Techxploration

After literally seven months of blood, sweat, and tears (mainly tears – I cry to get my way) I finally launched my new marketing campaign: The Great Techxploration.

This website represents a little piece of me. It represents an attempt to tell Microsoft’s “digital lifestyle” story. Just maybe, it represents Microsoft’s best attempt, to-date, to tell that story. All I can say is that I’m pretty excited and I’d love to hear what you think. More to come very, very soon. =)

  1. lol. Interesting site. A few comments:

    1) How many meetings took place to finalize the spelling of “techxploration”?

    2) Why is an MS website using Flash instead of Silverlight!! Blasphemy!!

    3) Why is an MS website using Amazon’s S3 web offering instead of their own??

I know, I know, I’m giving you a hard time. Site looks good nonetheless 😉

  2. Congratulations on your baby!!
7 months of hard work finally paid off 🙂
I think the website is really funny and cool..(it definitely represents more than just a little part of you)
–lol at the forbidden float dance between the xbox + windows
“they do not touch because the forbidden dance is not about touching but of temptation”
    ..haha that was cute!

  3. lol. you’re right of course. there’s another ms marketing campaign that came out that also was done in flash – the mojave experiment – and there’s a lot of good reasons on both sides of the argument. we may look at doing this site in silverlight as well.
